You simply need to box up your printer in a decent sized box which allows for enough protective packaging to be fitted around the Boca printers. Do not send any printer without adequate protective packaging as it is likely to get damaged during transportation. You will need to include a brief fault description and a stack of your ticket stock for diagnosing, testing and setting up after repair.
When send us your printer, do not include any cables, as we do not need them and we do at times forget to resend them.
We do supply parts for your Boca printers. The most common parts purchased are replacement print heads and replacement cutter units. In order to be able to supply the correct part, we will need to know the full specification of your printer/s. The best way to inform us is by sending us an image of your printers Boca label, which is normally found either at the side or underneath the printer, depending on model.
We still are repairing the old style Boca printers. If you are happy with your old printer and you want it repaired, please get in touch. If we can source the required parts, which we normally can, we are happy to repair it. If it is cost effective to repair it, we recommend that you do so rather than investing in a new printer.
We normally turnaround repairs within 48hrs of receipt of the faulty printer. However, this can take longer if we require a part we do not have in stock or the printer has a software or logic board issue. We do not repair logic boards, so we will either send of the board to get it repaired or we will replace the board, depending on which course of action is most cost effective.
We are happy for you to send us more than one printer at a time. However, please note that turnaround times will be longer, depending on the number of printers you send. If you are going through a busy period, we always advise that you do not send us your printers unless you have enough backup printers. Please note that we do not supply rental or loan printers.
Yes, we sell refurbished Boca printers, which we normally have a list of available on our website. The printers we sell have been either fully refurbished or rebuilt from parts we have in stock.
No we do not buy back old printers unfortunately!
